Get an Arts Education Degree on Salt Spring Island!

Simon Fraser University is offering a two-year Master of Education (MEd) Degree Program starting this Fall here on Salt Spring. Designed to meet the needs of the working professional, classes will be held on weekends and during two summer semesters. Students will take one course each semester. ArtCraft 2010 kicks off with a drawcard exhibition!

This year, ArtCraft runs from Friday 18 June through Sunday September 19 at Mahon Hall. This year's opening showcase is an exhibition of works by local artists Deon and Cathy Venter. Be sure to attend the opening night! This exhibition affords a rare opportunity to view work by these celebrated artists here on Salt Spring Island.

This year's Easter Art Tour is fast approaching! It's sure to be our biggest year yet. Our feature exhibition is a survey of 7 years of art photographs by the internationally renowned photographer, Eric Klemm.

Salt Spring Arts Council Newsletter

The SSAC newsletter is published four times a year. It is put together by volunteer members of the SSAC. Editors are always looking for articles from artists of all varieties.
