About Mahon Hall

The historic Mahon Hall — in the centre of Ganges, Salt Spring Island — is the home of the Salt Spring Arts Council. Originally built in 1904, the well loved community hall is newly restored, repainted and with much improved facilities.

It provides a public space for concerts, theatre, art shows and the annual community crafts exhibitions — ArtCraft and WinterCraft. The hall is also available for private events, meetings, weddings and get-togethers. The capacity of the hall is 200 standing and 120 seated, with a raised proscenium stage. See Mahon Hall rentals.
