ArtCraft

Enjoy the best art and craft created by artists and artisans of the Southern Gulf Islands in this Council-run gallery and gift shop. Open from 10am to 5pm daily from June through September, ArtCraft offers a wide selection of exquisite works ranging from paintings, wood-turned bowls, felted wool and silk scarves, ceramics, baskets, jewellery, soaps and greeting cards.
With more than 100 exceptional local artists featured in this annual, juried display of contemporary art and crafts, ArtCraft is British Columbia’s largest and longest running exhibit of its kind.
Open from from June through September, ArtCraft has been operating for more than 40 years in Salt Spring Island's historic Mahon Hall on Rainbow Road.
Proceeds from ArtCraft are used by the Arts Council to support and foster the arts on Salt Spring Island. Whether you’re a visitor or resident, be sure to visit ArtCraft and take home a unique island treasure.
Participate in ArtCraft
Visual artists and artisans residing in the Southern Gulf Islands are eligible to participate in ArtCraft. Applications are taken in the Spring for the same calendar year. To find out more about the ArtCraft application process, download the documents below:

Registration deadline is Monday 6th May for 2 dimensional works and new applicants; and May10th for returning registrants.
