The Arts Directory provides information about arts resources on Salt Spring Island, in the region, throughout British Columbia and Canada-wide. Listings include contact details for a variety of non-profit arts organizations, commercial and public art galleries, performing arts venues, venues suitable for the staging of arts events and suppliers of goods and services.

A Directory of Salt Spring Arts Council members who wish to advertise their products and services will soon be included in this section. The Salt Spring Arts Council represents a wide range of arts disciplines, which will be reflected in the Member Directory under the following categories:

• Applied Arts–Architecture, Craft, Design (Fashion, Graphic, Industrial, Interior, Textile etc.)
• Literary Arts–Fiction, Non-fiction, poetry
• Media Arts–Film, Multimedia, Television
• Performing Arts–Choreography, Circus, Dance, Music, Theatre
• Visual Arts–Collage, New Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture

 You don't have to be an arts practitioner to get a listing. People who work in support services to the arts—Fashion Stylists, Publishers, Camera Operators, Recording Engineers, Curators, arts organizations—are all welcome to list, as are those with a passion for the arts that makes them avid theatre-goers or art collectors.
