Salt Spring Arts Council is a community arts organization serving residents of Salt Spring Island and the Gulf Islands in British Columbia, Canada. Salt Spring is known around the globe for its arts tourism, and diverse and talented artists.
The Arts Council is widely known for its summer arts and crafts show, ArtCraft, and its winter arts and crafts show, WinterCraft. We also provide grants and funding to artists and artisans of the Gulf Islands, helping them to continue their work and cultural achievements.
We're proud to foster a positive environment for a broad range of arts groups and individuals: visual artists, performing artists, literary artists, artisans, craftsmen, writers/poets, painters/sculptors, singers, dancers and actors.
