The Salt Spring Arts Council is a not-for-profit organization serving Salt Spring Island and the Southern Gulf Islands in British Columbia, Canada. Salt Spring Island is known for its diverse and talented artists. The Arts Council supports and promotes the arts through education, events, partnership and advocacy in the Applied, Literary, Media, Performing and Visual Arts.

Inspired by the hugely successful The Cheaper Show in Vancouver, The Even Cheaper Show is happening on Salt Spring Island. This juried art show, designed to bring together emerging and established artists, collectors and art lovers, features all works at an affordable $199.99. Exhibition at The Barn at 775 Sunset Drive – 3 & 4 August 2013. Download entry information now.  Submission deadline–July 12, 2013.
