The Salt Spring Arts Council is a not-for-profit organization serving Salt Spring Island and the Southern Gulf Islands in British Columbia, Canada. Salt Spring Island is known for its diverse and talented artists. The Arts Council supports and promotes the arts through education, events, partnership and advocacy in the Applied, Literary, Media, Performing and Visual Arts.

ArtCraft 2014 will open on Friday, June 13 and will run until September 14th. ArtCraft is BC's longest running arts and crafts show now in it's 44th year at Mahon Hall in Ganges. This year there will be 105 artists and crafts people from the Southern Gulf Islands exhibiting.
